General structure of the system - High level

Pothole Repair is a sales company that happens to fix potholes. In order for our data to serve and allow us to generate revenue, it is important to understand that the company has a 3 dimensional dataset.

This is a very important concept, which is spread all over the system and is the capstone for most processes in it.

* '''Specific Site:''' the first thing that we have to have is a record of a specific site. This is a place where the pothole is. A physical point on earth, with an address and it's basically immutable. It is unlikely to change in the future.

* '''Human:''' is the physical person who has the responsibility and therefore can make decisions over the site. That human may or may not be at that side; that human may or may not manage many other sites, and may or may not work for the company on that site. More often than not, that human works for the property management company.

* '''Property management company:''' is the company or human that runs the property/ site.This is responsible for collecting the rent, calling someone when a damage needs to be fixed, etc.

In most cases the human works for the property management company, and the site hires the management company.

Nevertheless a lot of things can happen, sometimes the Management Company may change, but not the human. Or maybe, the human who was in charge gets fired and a new person takes over but the management company remains the same.

The system is structured in order to easily change the information of each part of this triangle, without losing the traceability of those changes and always keeping a close contact with the customers.
